Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Staff Accountant with at least two years of professional experience to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and a strong interest or background in leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance accounting processes and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
· Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
· Support the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
· Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for transaction processing, reporting, and data analysis.
· Leverage AI-based tools for automating routine accounting tasks such as invoice processing, expense categorization, and data validation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
· Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
· Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows using automation and digital tools.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized business environment.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
· Familiarity with AI tools used in finance and accounting (e.g., OCR, RPA, machine learning-based analytics).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Required Skills:
· Experience with AI-driven platforms like BlackLine, AppZen, or similar.
· Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
· CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
