The hourly rate for a current EVSC assistant will be based on years of service with EVSC in an assistant role. Annual, incremental pay increases are given for each year of service with the EVSC in this role if an employee has worked 120 days in a school year.

This position will automatically be enrolled in the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) through the state of Indiana, which includes a defined benefit (Pension) as well as an Annuity Savings Account (ASA). Employees may also participate in a 403(b) Plan. Enrolling in the 403(b) plan allows employees to save for their retirement by making a pre-tax salary deferral contributions to the Plan.

SUMMARY:
Serves the assistant principal dean by overseeing and monitoring the in-school suspension room and completing other tasks of the dean’s office as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversees and monitors students in in-school suspension.
- Collects assignments from each student in in-school room.
- Returns completed assignments to appropriate teachers.
- Maintains an atmosphere conducive to study and learning.
- Maintains regular attendance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Some college preferred.
