Maintenance Worker/Janitorial

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• General maintenance of facility and other routine maintenance duties as assigned
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Notify management concerning the need for any major repair or additions to building operating system
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Clean buildings and grounds areas as needed and/or assigned
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals that may be hazardous without adverse reactions.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

· Prior commercial janitorial experience preferred.

· High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent preferred.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Ability to handle multiple demands.

· The ability to twist, walk, stand and work in adverse weather and temperature conditions.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.15 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
