Shipping- Crate Builder

Do you like wood working and using power tools? If yes, this might be the job for you! We are seeking a person to join our shipping team to build crates to protect our product during the shipping process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate hand or power equipment such as table saw, radial arm saw, drill press, nail gun, staple gun and band saw
• Also use forklift and crane for moving material
• Safely load and transport items by hand or with power equipment
• Load and unload trucks and trailers as well as operate scales and part id equipment.
• Accurately process paperwork for receiving and shipping and warehousing raw materials and finished goods.
• Manually lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 100#.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and bend and twist up to 45 degrees
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Possess company approved forklift license
• Ability to touch and raise arms above shoulder
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow safety rules and work in proactively safe manner

Shifts

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday - Thursday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.31 - $21.33 per hour
