Job Description: As a CNC Operator, you will receive hands-on training in the operation and maintenance of CNC machinery used in the production of windows, storefronts, and facade systems. You will be mentored by experienced professionals, learning to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure the precision and quality of our custom architectural systems. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in manufacturing with a focus on high-performance construction materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive training and mentorship in CNC machine operation, setup, and programming for the production of windows, storefronts, and facades.
- Assist with machine setup and operation, ensuring products meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders for fabrication of custom architectural products.
- Monitor and inspect products during production to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with machine maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Continuously learn and improve CNC machining and programming skills to increase productivity and quality.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in learning CNC machining processes and manufacturing techniques.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure high-quality production.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on precision and safety.
Preferred:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field OR vocational school training in the mechanical field.
