Position Description: Social Enterprise Production Manager
Reports To: Social Enterprise Executive Director

Job Summary
Use production and manufacturing skills to provide over site on all social enterprise operations within Evergreen Life Services [ELS] divisions, build essential production operation procedures to provide product kits to ELS Divisions, and establish constant communication with State Executive Leadership to maintain feedback with assembly work. Create, maintain, and oversee all production procedures for the HEAVENDROPt [HD] operation. Collaborate with program staff to ensure the most effective and efficient methods to make and distribute products are sustained.
Essential Job Functions
- Collect and analyze system and process metrics
- Identify, report and aid in the diagnosis and resolution to problems with production job execution
- Coordinate with everyone in planning and executing changes to the production schedule
- Update and maintain documentation on Production Control processes
- Drive improvements to production processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and work instructions for team members and training purposes
- Oversee supply purchasing
- Manage the handling of all raw material and manufacturing of all HD product kits that distribute to ELS divisions nationally.
- Manage packaging and shipping of individual products, bulk products, and product kits.
- Inventory all supplies, raw material, kits, and completed products in warehouse
- Oversees all inventory control and resupply of production supplies, equipment, and tools
- Directly account for all inventory forecasting, order management, and supply chain management
- Assist the National Director of Sales and Business Development in securing a long-term procurement method of replenishing Military parachutes
- Quality-check all incoming products.
- Maintain contractor work hours and coordinate scheduling will all production staff.
- Inspect and monitor manufacturing processes, inspect packaging components, sample raw materials and finished products for testing
- Analyze, problem solve, and multi-task to meet deadlines working in a team environment with multiple disciplines Advise in all market testing of new products.
- Assist in development of new enterprises throughout ELS Divisions
- Structure operational plan to sustain production in new enterprise locations
- Maintain oversite on production needs throughout ELS divisions
- Establish new best practices to enhance the production capabilities in Evergreen divisions
- Attend local and National conventions selling HD products
- Assist with and participate in events related to fundraising as required
Qualifications/Experience/Job Knowledge
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Prior work in a non-profit atmosphere and/or experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Must be proficient in excel, word, google docs, learn inventory system and internet website operations
Physical Requirements
- Constantly moves about to coordinate work
- Regularly works in fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines
- Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions
- Constantly alert and observant during working hours

Employment Variables
Must have a good driving record which meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation. Must pass drug screen and criminal background check. Must be able to work some evenings when required.
Working Environment
Typical office setting, as well as that of a production facility and/or warehouse with moderate noise level.
May be required to work in a variety of settings and environments both indoors and outdoors.
