URGENTLY HIRING: $750.00 Signing Bonus payable $200.00 @ 60 days; $200.00 @ 90 days; $350.00 @ 120 days.
Background
ECHO is seeking Employment Support Specialists to join our passionate team of professionals. We are currently looking for positive, caring team members to join our Employment Support staff that manages production within a host company or community job site while training, employing, and supervising adults with disabilities and managing ECHO’s contract with the host company.
The mission of ECHO is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success. We provide skill building, job placement, day support and transportation. Our services empower individuals to be active members of the community.
Job Duties
- Implement individual service programs
- Provide supervision to program participants to ensure health and safety as dictated by their individual service plans
- Maintain up-to-date documentation
Minimum Position Requirements
- Experience in vocational and/or day support training of persons with disabilities is desired but not required
- Must possess valid driver’s license and driving record meeting insurance requirements
- Successful completion of drug/alcohol screening and a background check to include fingerprinting
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, type, push a wheelchair with rider, lift up to 50 pounds, and support persons with challenging behaviors, which can be physical.
