Job Overview for Registered Nurse
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient nursing team and provide nursing services to patients in their primary residence. The right candidate is a patient, compassionate professional who encourages and inspires their patients to work toward greater independence and recovery.
Responsibilities for Registered Nurse
- Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
- Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
- Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient’s care plan.
- Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
- Oversee other workers such as LPNs, nursing aides, and home care aides
Qualifications for Registered Nurse
- Proven record of providing patients with nursing care.
- Ability to exercise independent and sound judgement.
- Strong decision-making skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills along with strong teamwork skills.
- Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and disorders.
Experience and Education for Registered Nurse

Experience in providing nursing care to patients in a residential setting or similar environment.
- Current Registered Nurse license for the state of operation.
