What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Manager position at EVONA?
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join a company who are experts in the Space robotics field. You will oversee the Contracting function within this agile, start-up organization who are paving the way for an industry that will send payloads to the moon, collect essential and foreign data, scout future large scale missions, while also create new ways of developing commercial space opportunities.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 8-13 years' of experience in a Contract or Subcontract Manager position
- Government contracting experience is critical
- Experience with FAR's, DFARS etc.
- Strong understanding of contract law, including contract formation, interpretation, and implementation
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships with partners and vendors
Job responsibilities:
- Help craft and implement contractual documentation.
- Support contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and the federal government
- Review contractual terms, identify risks and negotiate on behalf of the company
- Coordinate contract implementations between the company and subcontractors while ensuing both parties are adhering to obligations
- Quarterly review and maintain all contract records, while guaranteeing thorough and accurate compliance
- Coordinate and support contract administration across departments
- Support government compliance activities
