They’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for hands-on design and prototyping – someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to be at the heart of next-gen space system development.

- Designing and testing spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and solar arrays
- Integrating avionics and harnessing systems with the electrical engineering team
- Running mechanical and thermal analysis on critical components
- Developing hardware for both flight systems and ground support
- Leading design reviews, managing BOMs, and sourcing materials suited for space environments
- Shaping high-level spacecraft architecture and improving in-house testing facilities
- 3 years in spacecraft mechanical design and integration
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering
- Strong CAD experience (NX preferred) and comfort with GD&T
- Background in composites or metallic structures, with solid prototyping experience
- Comfortable with structural and thermal analysis (FEA and Thermal Desktop/NX Nastran a plus)
- Experience with environmental testing (vibe, TVAC)
- Machine shop and hands-on fabrication skills
- Python or other scripting abilities for automation
