Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design efforts for high-speed digital communication systems and mixed-signal architectures on complex, multilayer PCBs
- Design around 100G networking protocols, high-speed SerDes, and manage power tree complexities
- Handle schematic capture, PCB layout, and bring-up for digital subsystems (FPGAs, MCUs, peripheral components)
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RF, firmware, FPGA, and embedded systems engineers to optimize system architecture
- Conduct lab and field testing of prototypes to validate performance
- Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are testable, scalable, and easy to integrate
- 5 years of professional experience in electrical hardware design
- Strong background in high-density/high-speed digital systems (including FPGAs, JESD204C, 10/100 GigE, SerDes, and data converters)
- Proficient in schematic capture and best practices in PCB layout
- Familiar with EMI/EMC troubleshooting for both conducted and radiated emissions
- Knowledgeable in PCB materials and stack-up design
- Comfortable with bench work, including soldering and rework techniques
- Experience with full product lifecycle (concept through production)
