What You’ll Do
- Lead spacecraft thermal design and ensure mission-critical environments are maintained throughout all phases of operation
- Build and maintain detailed thermal models, performing steady-state and transient analysis for real orbital conditions
- Develop and implement thermal control strategies using passive and active techniques
- Support integration and test activities, including thermal vacuum (TVAC) campaigns and correlation of thermal models
- Collaborate with systems, avionics, payload, and mechanical teams to integrate thermal considerations into overall design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 7 years of spacecraft thermal engineering experience with multiple satellite lifecycles
- Expertise in orbital thermal environments and LEO mission constraints
- Proficiency in tools such as Thermal Desktop (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in model development, correlation, and environmental testing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with cross-functional teams
