SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator will be a motivated, detail-oriented and proactive key member of our PMO team. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting team efforts to secure and deliver innovative projects in the renewable energy sector. Building strong relationships, both within the organization and externally will be important. This position provides an exciting, high-paced setting, perfect for individuals committed to delivering quality work, displaying meticulous attention to detail, and creating visually compelling content through a distinctive approach. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager.
The position is located in Eden Prairie, MN.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership and accountability for the administrative management of a project throughout its lifecycle, taking an active role in all aspects of the process.
- Coordinate the work scope, prepare and/or maintain overall schedules, deliverables, and budgets on various sized projects.
- Track projects using Microsoft Project, MS Excel, Monday.com or equivalent.
- Organizing, attending and note taking for internal and external meetings.
- Documenting and following up internally and externally on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Responsible for Contract Review, Change Order processing, Sub-contracts, Project invoicing and coordinate 4 or more multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously.
- Track project schedule, progress, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison with respective discipline’s technical leads to coordinate non-technical tasks when numerous internal team members are involved.
- Responsible for auditing typical Project Management processes such as Monday.com project boards and EVS Quality Control and Standards programs to ensure that they are being followed.
- Provide high-quality support to internal clients.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
- Responsible for internal client satisfaction. Coordinate with internal clients on their expectations and project needs. Internal clients include Technical Project Managers, Admin/Billing Managers, etc.
- Collaborate with Proposals Manager on project proposals and marketing as an ambassador for the company
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of Project Coordinator or related experience is required.
- Demonstrated organizational and management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in engineering, power, EPC or heavy construction engineering is preferred.
- Project controls knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of PV system design is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
