Job Summary:
Conduct in class instructional lessons for students of all ages and varied levels of experience. This position requires at least 1 year of teaching experience in an academic or educational setting with individuals of varied learning styles. This position requires scheduling flexibility. This position is part-time and may include weekends and holidays.
General Requirements for Employment:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting annually.
- Must live within the Alexandria/Pineville, La area
- Must be willing to take responsibility for classroom etiquette, instructional trainings, appointments and scheduling.
- Must be RELIABLE and enjoy working with teens and adults.
- Must be able to interface professionally with the public/students.
- Must be able to think quickly and act appropriately in emergencies.
- Must have patience and impeccable customer service skills.
- Driving instruction or teaching experience a plus.
Essential Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Effectively interact with teen and young adult students.
- Follow the Excel Driving Academy curriculum as outlined by the program.
- Communicate with and respond to Driver Education Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Perform other daily tasks as assigned by Driver Education Coordinator.
Working conditions:
Must be proficient with the use of computers and other administrative equipment. This position may require weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
