Excell Refrigeration is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Operations Manager to join our EMI Division. This position plays a crucial role in managing a team of 70 employees while overseeing the continued development of our pipeline of work. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee daily operations of the EMI Division, ensuring smooth execution of projects and service delivery.
- Manage and maintain the existing sales pipeline, driving new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Supervise and manage a team of 70 field technicians, coordinators, and support staff, ensuring efficient operations and quality control.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment on project timelines, budgets, and goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and safety compliance.
- Review and analyze project costs, progress, and profitability to ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication, resolve issues, and set goals for team members.
- Review performance metrics, conduct 90-day and annual reviews, and provide coaching to employees.
- Develop and manage key client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure the alignment of operational resources to sales forecasts and new opportunities.
- Enforce and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to all Excell Refrigeration policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Always maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers, internal management, and team members.
- Exceed customer expectations through efficient service and solutions-oriented approach.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
- Previous experience managing a large team (70 people) and working with operational pipelines.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including weekends.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Consent to a background check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is preferred.
