Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- New York State Teaching Certification in Education, grades 1-6 or grades 7-12 preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in dance education, working with children, and providing dance instruction in an urban school setting required.
- Passionate about teaching dance and enforcing the learning of dance concepts required.
- Have educational and/or professional training in developing and implementing a dance education program for children required.
- Note: Candidates who do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
- Salary range $58,516 -$143,740. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
