Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Marketer / Hospital Liaison to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in driving census growth and building strong, lasting relationships with referral sources throughout Brooklyn.
Job Description:
- Market the facility to hospitals, physicians, social workers, and community organizations, with a focus on increasing admissions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local Brooklyn hospital discharge planners and healthcare professionals.
- Represent the facility professionally and positively at all times.
- Respond promptly to all inquiries via phone, in person, and through online referral platforms.
- Meet patients and families in hospitals and the community to present our services and convert referrals into admissions.
- Clearly communicate admission criteria and services to referral sources, patients, and families.
- Track and follow up on all pending referrals and maintain accurate records of marketing activity and outcomes.
- Coordinate with the Admissions Director and Administrator to ensure smooth and efficient admission processes.
- Assist with marketing events, after-hours outreach, and relationship-building efforts across the Brooklyn healthcare network.
- Supervise and collaborate with any assigned marketing support staff to ensure timely response to referrals and conversion strategies.
- Drive as needed throughout the borough and nearby areas to support facility marketing needs.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
- Proven relationships with Brooklyn hospitals and referral sources.
- Team player who is receptive to direction and enthusiastic about being part of a fast-moving, high-performing team.
- Experienced nursing home marketer with an established book of business from Brooklyn-area hospitals.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while staying organized and focused.
- Strong knowledge and clear understanding of the nursing home admissions process.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate with experience using CRM or referral tracking systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to pivot and adjust schedules based on facility needs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
