The Night Auditor is responsible to audit, balance, and report the transactions of various parts of the hotel (ex: Front Office, Food and Beverage, Valet, etc.). Act as overnight manager on duty to be aligned with the scheduled security officer.
Some of your responsibilities include:

Ability to manage multiple functions and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment.

Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders while acting as an extension of the Hotel Drover brand.

Always maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment
-
Audit, balance, and report all food and beverage outlet sales/receipts.
-
Separate and properly log all receipts for cash, credit card, promotional, or guest room charges.

Run system reports to track adjustments, paid outs, billing, cash over/short, deposits, taxes, disputes, and transaction corrections.

Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need for their stay.

Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies.

Reconcile all house accounts to ensure balance.

Enter information into accounting journal sheets to ensure balance of accounts.

Run night audit reports, ensuring that room and tax is properly posted for in-house guests.

Schedule wake-up calls and reservations for the following day.

Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed.

Answer phones and place reservations.

Run n-show reports and charge guests accordingly.

Post advance deposits for future bookings.

Pre-assign rooms for the following day based on occupancy

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues without constant supervision.

Previous experience in similar Job role.

Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

The team member is required to perform all necessary duties of the job. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
