Executive Search Partners is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an international manufacturer and market leader in specialty materials seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead enterprise technology strategy during a period of significant growth and manufacturing expansion.

The Opportunity
The Director of IT will own the enterprise technology roadmap and lead a major ERP transformation while supporting operations across U.S. and European sites. A new, world-class production facility is currently under construction—creating a rare opportunity to build systems, teams, and processes with scale and longevity in mind.
Location: Piney Flats, TN (HQ) | New facility under construction in Danville, VA
Industry: Advanced / specialty materials manufacturing
Work Model: On-site leadership role (with limited hybrid flexibility in TN and VA sites)
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $160,000 – $185,000 (depending on experience)
- Annual Bonus: Target ~25%
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package

What You’ll Do
- Lead enterprise IT strategy aligned to business growth and operational excellence
- Drive the transformation and implementation of a new ERP platform (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Build, lead, and scale the IT organization
- Oversee infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and end-user support
- Partner closely with executive leadership on data-driven decision-making
- Manage vendors and programs to deliver results on time and on budget
What You Bring
- 10 years of progressive IT leadership in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven success leading ERP implementations (NetSuite a strong plus)
- Experience supporting multi-site and/or international operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and execution skills
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or Master’s preferred)
