Your work environment at EXP
Program Management of the Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Funds for the School Board’s PPO Department. Projects include HVAC replacements, Watermain infrastructure replacements, Reroofing, building repainting, Door/Window Replacements and other deferred maintenance projects needed throughout the district’s schools. Responsibilities for the Project Controls Analyst include manage all day-to-day project commercial operations, manage/monitor budgeting process, manage the scheduling of project(s), coordinate support to field operation, monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues, production of the programs report(s), produce presentation for weekly and monthly reports, prepare dashboard updates, meeting with contractors, rate verification and ensures compliance with mandated Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, developing relationships with the District entities, tracking the progress of active projects as well as navigating the District’s Work Order/Purchase Order system MAXIMO and the Building Department’s Integrated Software Suite (ISS) system.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Oversees the management of ESSR Projects contracts.
- Oversees the management of the Design Consultant Professionals and construction of ESSR Projects.
- Coordinates with SBBC Building Department and other appropriate departments to resolve design, permitting, construction, and/or commissioning issues.
- Coordinates with SBBC operations and maintenance staff.
- Coordinates with both District and School Principals.
- Track and monitor the District’s Work Order/Purchase Order system MAXIMO and the Building Department’s Integrated Software Suite (ISS) system
- Reviews and advises on design and construction changes.
- Attends Change Management meetings, as required, to support Project Managers.
- Coordinates with SBBC key staff on design and construction contract issues.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
- Conducts weekly meetings with staff and prepares weekly/monthly project status reports as required for communication.
- Evaluates A/E’s, and contractors & vendors.
What your experience looks like
- Any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position duties, such as:
- Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management or other related field.
- Fifteen-plus years of project management experience on large scale vertical construction projects and/or Capital Programs, including staff management over project managers, construction superintendents, and/or other management personnel.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
