The Role
The Pricing Manager is part of the Product Team and manages pricing and implements pricing strategies for Expereo’s products or services. Analyzes our costs, industry pricing trends and prices at competitor companies.
You will develop pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability. The Pricing Manager’s expertise in pricing analysis and optimization supports competitive pricing and revenue maximization.
It plays a vital role in setting product pricing, discounts, and promotions to attract customers while maintaining profitability. With the pricing strategies, we capture market opportunities, achieve pricing differentiation, and optimize pricing structures that resonate with our target customers (ICP). The pricing work supports revenue optimization, market positioning, and overall business success in a competitive pricing landscape.
Main Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability
- Working closely with the commercial and supplier management teams to closely track movements in costs and markets
- Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness
- Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
- Create product pricing quality insights, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis
- Developing pricing proposals and tools for new products, services and opportunities
- Tracking market trends and keep up to date on prices set by competitors
- Collaborating with product managers, sales, and finance teams on pricing decisions
- Staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics
Key Requirements
- You have a degree in Business Administration or a related field
- You have prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation
- You possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- You possess strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail
