The Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner who is looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to further advance their skills and career in a great working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on both the development of our expereoOne portal while enhancing internal processes and tools.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be instrumental in shaping a part of our platform strategy for 2025 and beyond. Leveraging your extensive experience in service design and product management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate discovery workshops, synthesise research insights, and craft compelling narratives to drive service innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in articulating actionable recommendations for organisational change and ensuring that our products align with user needs and business objectives.

Your initial focus will be to drive process and technology optimisation across Expereo to streamline the existing touchpoints to cohesively design, build and deliver an optimised end to end customer journey within our expereoOne platform.

This collaborative mindset extends beyond your immediate team, making you an integral player in the broader product owner community.

Responsibilities:

Here is how your day-today responsibilities of the role will look like, but are not limited to:

• Lead and Direct Teams: Lead a cross-functional team responsible for new developments and maintenance of the company’s core systems. Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project. Actively mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of the Release/Sprint.
• Product Strategy and Planning: Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product based on the company’s strategic goals. Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with Expereo strategy. Lead the product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Collaboration and Negotiation: Collaborate effectively with product, commercial, and operation teams within their product line or organization to ensure consistency across touchpoints. Negotiate trade-offs between customer needs, user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Customer/User Focus: Work to understand and map customer and user journeys involving team members, stakeholders, and customers. Identify customer and user needs and opportunities for improving customer and user journeys.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate discovery and innovation workshops using human-centred methods, tools, and best practices.
• Previous working experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management for at least 3-5 year(s)
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
• Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and effectively communicate key insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure the development of products that meet customer needs and align with design principles.
• Articulate platform strategies and design decisions to senior leadership, junior developers, and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organisation.
• Taking ownership and acting as a leader while considering team members’ opinions.
