What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at EXPLUS INC?
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, preferred.
Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in fabrication industry or related field.
- Proficient with Office 365, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP’s.
- Must have at lease 2 years of experience in estimating exhibits projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have previous experience in estimating projects.
- Must read and write English at the college level.
- Must be organized, quality-conscious, detail-oriented, Ability to manager multiple projects, take initiative in solving problems, and interact with co-workers, vendors and clients.
JOB TASKS AND DUTIES:
- Written Communications--business emails, proposals, and scopes of work.
- Requires identification and estimating of cabinetry, cases, graphics, lighting, painting, metal fabrication, conceptual design, detailing, interactives, audio–visual equipment and production
- Sourcing, vendor/subcontractor qualifications,
- Assist in development of contract exceptions, scope of work, preparation of copy for proposals, and other company protections.
- Data gathering: Assist in the gathering of data and info that will aid in bid analysis and improve future pricing.
Compensation is based on experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
