Our Opportunity

Exponent is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist in Oakland, CA to orchestrate lead-generation campaign strategies in multiple marketing channels.

You will be responsible for

• Learning Exponent’s complex scientific and engineering consulting business
• Understanding our client audiences and personas
• Leveraging different types of creative content for campaigns and experimenting with different types of campaigns that will increase client conversion rates
• Applying innovative lead generation tactics
• Writing compelling content for web, email, and social campaigns
• Creating internal and external corporate campaigns for topics related to DEI, recruiting, and brand messaging
• Applying account-based marketing tactics and automation workflows for specific targets and industries
• Optimizing our LinkedIn company page and using LinkedIn features to increase brand eminence
• Keeping Exponent current when it comes digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
• Creating reports and leveraging data to evaluate the impact of marketing activities at both the strategy and campaign level
• Strategy and budget for organic and paid LinkedIn campaigns and Google Ads

You will have the following skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, journalism, english or related field
• Ability to write compelling content
• 6-8 years of marketing experience
• Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing communications plans and B2B programs
• Ability to plan for, carry out and provide support for projects with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in HubSpot or other email marketing software
• Proficiency in G4
• Proficiency in Drupal or WordPress
• Proficiency in SEMRush
• Knowledge of html is a plus

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
