What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Survey Department
- Provide professional decisions and oversight on boundary surveys and ALTA/NSPS projects
- Review title work, evaluate legal descriptions, and resolve property boundaries
- Coordinate with field crews, review data reductions, and manage traverse calculations
- Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables that meet state and local requirements
- Collaborate closely with clients, legal counsel, local governments, project managers, and engineering staff
- Maintain production quality, project schedules, budgets, and staffing workloads
- Report directly to the General Manager and contribute to firm-wide project planning
- Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.) License in Missouri and/or Illinois (required)
- 10 years of experience in land surveying with a strong background in property boundary resolution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and survey-related software
- Knowledge of legal principles related to land boundaries and title issues
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities
- Experience in managing complex, multi-parcel and high-profile projects is a plus
