What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator (4:30PM - 12:30AM M-F) position at Express Logistics LLC?
Position is for 4:30PM - 12:30AM Monday - Saturday morning. Flexibility with schedule may be needed.
We are a 20 year Expedited & Truckload Transportation Logistics company. We are a fast-paced company with challenging opportunities yielding rewards.
Summary: Candidate coordinates transportation of time-critical, hot-shot, ground expedited and truckload shipments throughout the United States and Canada.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Speak with customers over the phone and respond to emails within seconds of receipt
- Bid on customer jobs and negotiate with drivers to book shipments
- Become an expert with our Transportation Management software and strive for 100% administrative accuracy.
- Communicate with customers on product needs and timing of shipments
- Maintain load and delivery information. Track shipments through our apple/android driver app and third party sources
- Support Operations Manager in maximizing efficiencies of service and minimizing transportation costs
- Develop and maintain effective relations with our customers
- Share responsibility for achieving departmental/team goals
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficient with a computer, learning new technology platforms and Microsoft Outlook expertise a must.
- Proven experience in freight brokerage is a benefit but not necessary
- Ability to procure vehicles for shipments

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
