Express Sewer & Drain, Inc. is hiring a full-time Data Entry Clerk/ Video Processor to perform various administrative functions associated with our camera and inspection department. At Express Sewer & Drain, Inc., we perform crucial safety inspections that are recorded onto video files. The successful candidate will assist with labeling the video files, logging videos into a data base, review video for quality and completeness, coordinate information with CAD drafters and Project Managers to provide deliverables on a deadline. Requirements:
- Drug Free: Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Highly organized, good at problem solving, and clear interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Experience with reading and interpreting maps, plans, and construction documents is a plus.
- On the job training will be provided. No prior experience is needed but is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Review safety inspection videos and re-label file per Company’s naming format.
- Assist our controller in accounting type duties.
- Perform quality control check by carefully watching video to check for clear visual, completeness, correct time and date stamp, correct location, etc.
- Record pertinent information onto an Excel Spreadsheet and submit data to CAD Drafter for mapping.
- Once videos passed the QC process, video files are carefully moved to a final archive folder for deliverable to customer. Must be detail oriented to never accidentally delete a video file.
- Accurately track progress of jobs and report to Project Manager weekly of job status.
- Effectively communicate any problems found to Project Manager.
Prior Experience/Certification is a PLUS:
- Excellent recommendation from previous employer in an office environment
- Work experience for a construction office
- Associate Degree
- Completed computer software course/training
