What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Nurse position at EXTEN IV Therapy?
EXTEN IV Therapy is growing and we’re looking for energetic Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. EXTEN IV Therapy is an Idaho based IV therapy clinic with locations in Ketchum and Boise. We provide in office and house call appointments.
IV therapies are elective therapies that individuals may purchase to alleviate symptoms and promote health and wellness. As an IV therapy nurse, you will review client intake forms and assess individuals appropriateness to receive IV therapy per EXTEN's policy. IV therapy nurses will mix desired IV therapy drips, place intravenous catheters, administer IV therapies, monitor clients throughout the infusion and provide exceptional customer experiences.
EXTEN IV Therapy is currently seeking nurses for a part time position in Boise, ID to work a minimum of four to six shifts per month. We offer competitive pay and flexible schedules.
Registered Nurse Skills:
- Must be able to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and colleagues.
- Must have excellent peripheral intravenous access skills and ability to place IV’s in difficult scenarios.
- Must have strong understanding of intravenous nutrient therapy and the ability to mix IV therapy drips safely and efficiently.
- Must have strong customer service skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
- Must have strong computer and technology skills.
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and professional autonomy with the desire to be a life-long learner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Current/active unrestricted Idaho nursing license.
- 2 years nursing/intravenous access experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation.
