This role involves assisting technicians with equipment repairs, maintaining shop cleanliness, handling deliveries, helping with inventory, performing basic maintenance checks, running errands, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist technicians with equipment maintenance and repairs (pressure washers, vans, trucks, power tools, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper check-in and storage.
- Support the Shop Foreman with inventory management (stock checks, ordering).
- Perform basic preventative maintenance under guidance.
- Run errands for parts and supplies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Provide general office and shop support.
Cleaning trucks, vans and equipment.
Requirements:
Basic mechanical understanding and hands-on experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods; comfortable with varying weather conditions.
- Good organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics/auto tech is a plus.
