The Product Specialist Trading team is responsible for the implementation of electronic trading connections between MarketTrader clients and various third-party providers. The position will be focused on the execution of tasks and projects related to these FIX trading solutions, which are critical to our clients. We are looking for an individual that exhibits both leadership and project management skills, who can effectively communicate with all stakeholders. To succeed in this position, the candidate must also be able to think critically, stay organized, and prioritize issues. An understanding of electronic trading workflows, the financial industry, technical troubleshooting, or FIX protocol is preferred. Why You Will Love It Here! What You Will Get To Do: Empower SS&C MarketTrader software clients to unlock the full benefits of electronic trading, leveraging our extensive network of sell-side brokers and partner vendors Implement and maintain foundational elements of MarketTrader with an emphasis on trading and FIX protocol Manage several projects at once with various cross-functional teams, including both internal and external parties Troubleshoot ambiguous software issues and questions, working with internal resources and other product experts Build relationships internally (sales/account managers, project managers, developers) and externally across the industry (clients, sell-side brokers, partner IT firms) What You Will Bring: Bachelor’s Degree from a related field Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills Consistent positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult situations Ability to manage expectations on deliverables to internal and external stakeholders Capacity to understand key interdependencies and impact of work Proactivity to complete tasks and pick up projects Experience in financial services and/or technology preferred Experience with FIX protocol and/or electronic trading preferred Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
