ABOUT THE ROLE
F&M Trust is seeking a Credit Department Manager to join the Credit Administration department of our growing bank. Reporting directly to the Chief Credit Officer, this individual will be primarily responsible for managing the credit analysis and underwriting process for commercial customers to ensure proper quality, responsiveness, and control procedures. This individual will lead and mentor a team of commercial credit analysts and a credit department support specialist. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with Commercial Lenders in the processing of loan submission packages, monitor the process of requesting and receiving financial information and credit inquiries, prepare reports, attend committees, etc.
The home office location for this individual will be at the Bank's corporate headquarters located at 1500 Nitterhouse Drive, Chambersburg, PA, or the Bank's regional headquarters located at 4050 Crums Mill Road, Harrisburg, PA. Some travel to the opposite headquarters is necessary to ensure sufficient exposure to the full team on a regular basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience in one of the following: commercial loan underwriting/analysis, credit officer experience, commercial loan review, or auditing experience from an accounting (or related) firm.
- Bachelor's degree required, coursework in a relevant field of study desired.
- Management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Above average organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to make the right, and sometimes tough, decisions.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's license.
