What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Steam Cleaner/ Grinder position at Fabcor Inc.?
Job Title: Fabricated Parts Cleaner/Grinder
Duties:
Move metal fabricated parts into steam room, remove oil, and grime by steam cleaning. Prepare the cleaned parts for the paint room, such as taping off areas that do not get painted, plugging holes, grinding and finishing welded parts, etc. Must be committed and show up to work daily.
Skills:
- Experience in the metal fabrication industry
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning/grinding techniques and use of cleaning/grinding equipment
Note: Previous experience as a cleaner and/or grinding is preferred but not required. Training will be provided
