Requirements : Current certificate from the Board of Medical Quality Assurance Respiratory Care Examining Committee, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California required. BLS and NRP required. ACLS and PALS preferred.

Under medical direction and direct supervision appropriate to level of professional training and / or experience, performs all functions outlined in the Policy and Procedure of the Respiratory Care Department. This includes but is not limited to : emergency services, therapeutics, department record keeping, minor preventative maintenance, cleaning and processing of department equipment and related tasks.
