Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairfield by Marriott Emporia I-95. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist in the fabrication of parts or equipment as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance with a focus on customer service.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter effectively.
- Basic welding skills are a plus but not required.
- Good command of English for effective communication with team members and guests.
- Customer service orientation to address guest needs professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
