What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING position at Fairview Commons?
Qualifications:
- Holds current nursing license in accordance with State regulations. RN preferred.
- Five years Long Term care experience preferred.
- 2-3 years of nursing management experience preferred. Acute hospital medical/surgical
experience desirable.
- Holds and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with Nursing Standards of Practice.
- Ability to manage people.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in writing, as well as verbally.
- Ability to successfully relate and respond to the needs of management, employees and residents.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies
and procedures of the nursing department
Experience
Required
- 3 year(s): Supervisor or Manager in acute or long term care.
- 1 year(s): Training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Education
Required
- Associates or better in Nursing or related field
