This position will be working 48 hours every two weeks, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
Interview new parents prior to discharge and complete the birth certificate worksheet and Recognition of Parentage forms. Assure that birth certificates are filed within the mandated timeframe.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
- Communicates in a respective manner.
- Ensures a safe, secure environment.
- Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver.
Fulfills all organizational requirements
- Completes all required learning relevant to the role
- Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures and standards.
Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking.
Qualifications
Required Education: Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree (HIT) or completion of three years of college work in Health Information Management
