Schedule: 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period) worked over 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities
The EEG Technician's duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards;
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements;
- Obtains EEG recordings as prescribed by physician and according to policy. Provides technical interpretation of recording as needed;
- Performs preventive maintenance and safety testing of equipment and reports issues as appropriate;
- Maintains departmental records to preserve patient data and enable recall;
- Documents patient information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards, department policies/procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Completion of an accredited EEG program or registration by the American Medical Association American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist required.
- 1 to 2 years of recording experience.
