M Health Fairview is looking for a Linen Aide at our Fairview UMMC - West Bank/Riverside location, in Minneapolis, MN.
Location: UMMC West Bank, located in Minneapolis
Hours: 40 hours biweekly, with every other weekend dedication
Shift: Day
Week 1:
Mon: 5:00am - 9:00am
Tue: 5:00am - 9:00am
Thu: 5:00am - 9:00am
Fri: 5:00am - 9:00am
Week 2:
Mon: 5:00am - 9:00am
Tue: 5:00am - 9:00am
Thu: 5:00am - 9:00am
Fri: 5:00am - 9:00am
Sat: 5:00am - 9:00am
Sun: 5:00am - 9:00am

Responsibilities Job Description
- Collect soiled linens from designated areas throughout the facility.
- Transport soiled linens to the laundry room for processing.
- Sort clean linens according to type, size, and department.
- Fold and package linens neatly and according to established standards.
- Deliver clean linens to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
- Stock linen carts and shelves with clean linens as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and linen storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and restocking linens.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications & Other Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
