Registered Nurse (RN) - Transplant Charge Nurse

MHealth Fairview Health Services is looking for an RN to join the Transplant team on 7A! 

This position is 0.60 FTE (48 hours per two weeks), 12 hour shifts on the NIGHT shift with an every third weekend rotation.

The starting base rate of pay for the position is $41.69. Candidates with experience or higher degree may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.

• $2.00 extra per hour weekend shift differential
• $4.00 extra per hour night shift differential
• $3.00 extra per hour charge nurse differential

The University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) represents an integrated academic health care system and is comprised of two hospitals and dozens of adult specialty clinics on located on both the East and West banks of the UMMC campus in Minneapolis. It is the flagship facility of Fairview providing breakthrough medicine and redefining the health of our community.

The Transplant 7A unit is a 25 bed unit located at the University of Minnesota East Bank Hospital. Ratios are expected at 1 Nurse to 3-4 patients (4-5 at night).

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Required:

• MN RN License
• BLS for Health Care Providers
• Associates Degree
• Charge Nurse Experience Required

Preferred:

• Certification in related specialty
• BSN or higher preffered
