Semi Driver-CMDI

Overview

Transports mobile scanning unit between scheduled locations and assists technologists in patient throughput as requested.

Responsibilities

Transports mobile scanning equipment between locations

 

Maintains tractor/trailer

• Keeps equipment clean and in working order
• Communicates and schedules any repair needs in a timely manner

 

Escort/transport patients to scanner location at the hospital and assists with patient placement on scanner for MRI.

 

Participates as an active team member

• Orients and mentors new employees
• Participates in improvement initiatives
• Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
• Cleans and maintains patient areas, supplies and equipment
• Accepts unique customer service expectations in imaging\

 

Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines

• Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is in working order according to dept guidelines
• Accepts new technology as it is introduced into the work environment

• 5 yrs Previous CDL experience with semi-truck/19 wheeler
