Overview
This position will provide support for system wide projects related to the delivery of high-quality cancer care. Data collection from the EHR, data analysis with some opportunities for presentation, and collaboration with service line leaders and other staff members will allow the employee to develop or enhance existing knowledge related to clinical care, health care quality, and project management. Pre-existing health care education and knowledge of the electronic health record is highly valuable.
This position is casual.
Responsibilities Job Description
Takes initiative with assigned projects
Maintains high levels of organization and attention to detail.
Develops work plan with consideration of required tasks, sequence, and completion date
Reviews plan on regular basis and adjusts as needed
Works independently, yet collaborates with service line staff when needed
Manages project communications
Provides excellent oral and written communication
Updates work plan and provides regular follow up to workgroup members
Connects regularly with workgroup members to maintain project pace and schedule
Reports on performance relative to work plan
Provides support to leaders related to successful completion of initiatives
Produces high quality results, is professional and reliable
Possesses flexibility to work across various project topics
Works in tandem with respective leaders regarding specific key projects / initiatives
Considers stakeholder needs and their quality requirements
