Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview Range is seeking an experienced professional to join our organization. The Director of Human Resources plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization’s human resources function and performance including staffing and scheduling, staff education & training, employee relations, union negotiations, leave management, payroll, HRIS, benefits and compensation.

- Develops, implements, and measures human resources objectives to support the organization's business objectives.
- Participates in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic business partner particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
- Partners with Fairview system stakeholders in the implementation of system-wide programs and initiatives at Fairview Range.
- Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts.
- Participates in the development of employee training programs.
- Participates in the development, maintenance, and application of appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines for the effective management of the people resources of the organization.
- Drives performance management process assessing talent at all levels.
- Provides employee relations counsel to managers, HR generalists, and employees. Participates in the resolution of escalated employee relations issues. Identifies employee relations root causes and trends and implements action to prevent re-occurrence.
- Maintains responsibility for organizational compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Serves as Joint Commission Chapter Lead for Fairview Range. Monitors the chapters EP's (Elements of Performance) to ensure compliance and audits the quality according to the standards prescribed
- Develops and manages HR, Benefits, and Staffing budget.
Required:
- 10 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
- 5 years of experience as a Manager/Director of Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- PHR or SHRM-CP
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Human Resources Director in a hospital of 1000 or greater number of employees.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management or Business Administration.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR
