Are you ready to start an exciting new career? Fairview Range is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our close-knit inpatient Pharmacy team. The Pharmacy is an integral part of our care team. Based within the hospital, our Pharmacy supports patient care in inpatient, emergency, and oncology/infusion settings as well as supporting outpatient vaccine programs. Our team manages patient medications, mixes medications on demand, and acts as a resource for the facility.
The Pharmacy Technician is a vital part of this department from providing technical support to clinical duties. This position performs unit dose cart fills, prepares sterile products such as chemotherapy and IV admixtures, and distributes medications and supplies as needed throughout the facility. The successful candidate will be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. On the job training can be provided! This position is full time, 72-80 hours per two weeks working 8-hour rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts and rotating weekends. This position is fully benefit eligible!

Responsibilities/Job Description

- Provides clerical and support services for department needs and professional staff.
- Maintain Inventory/Stock Levels
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 12 months of hire.
- Candidates not currently registered as a Technician with the MN Board of Pharmacy will need to be registered prior to hire, and maintain registration.
Preferred:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program offered by a board-approved, accredited vocational/technical institution or college.
