Fairview Range is hiring a Driver for our Transportation Department in Hibbing, MN.
The STS Driver provides safe and convenient transportation services for physically challenged clients and provide daily courier services as advised.
Schedule: This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. Primarily 8 - hour day shifts with rotating evening/night/weekend/holiday on call.

As a Driver, you are responsible for:
- Driving and escorting clients between residence and approved destination.
- Demonstrating knowledge of Special Transportation Service guidelines and requirements and complete job responsibilities accordingly.
- Maintaining safety and client comfort when escorting and/or transporting clients. Maintaining courteous and effective communication with clients to promote customer services and satisfaction within the program.
- Demonstrating knowledge of safety-related work procedures and follow all accurate procedures in the event of accident or injury during transport of client. Reporting all safety related issues to supervisor promptly.
- Collecting and distributing interdepartmental correspondence, supplies, including pharmaceuticals and other items to appropriate destinations as advised.
- Attending departmental meetings, in-services, and other educational programs as advised.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older on the date of hire.
- Must be physically capable of performing requirements of position.
- Ability to obtain necessary passenger assistance, defensive driving and first aid training.
- Must possess a valid Minnesota Driver’s License with excellent driving record. Special Transportation Service qualified.
