Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Helping with meal preparation and feeding
- Administering medication as directed
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Providing companionship and emotional support
Skills:
- Childcare: Experience working with children and providing age-appropriate care and supervision.
- Working with people with autism: Knowledge and understanding of autism spectrum disorders and the ability to provide appropriate support and care.
- Hospice care: Familiarity with end-of-life care and the ability to provide compassionate support to individuals and their families during this difficult time.
- Patient care: Experience in providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Caregiving: Ability to provide physical, emotional, and social support to individuals in need.
- Assisted living: Knowledge of assisted living facilities and the ability to assist residents with their daily activities while promoting independence.
- Working with people with developmental disabilities: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the ability to provide personalized care and support.
- Cleanliness: Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for the individual receiving care.
- Lifting: Capability to lift heavy objects or individuals as required for caregiving tasks.
