Falcomm was founded with a mission to bring semiconductor innovation to the real world. Today, Falcomm is actively developing new semiconductor technologies for customers to provide the most energy efficient power amplifier products in the world. Falcomm is seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern with an interest in semiconductors and power amplifiers. An ideal candidate is able to learn quickly, is highly detail-oriented, takes pride in the quality of their work, and wants to make a real impact in supporting the creation of ultra energy efficient power amplifier technologies for the wireless communication market.
Operations Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests.
- Work with the CEO, Operations, and other team members to manage daily tasks such as supporting current projects, communicating with clients, and managing scheduling.
- Organize files, prepare documentation, create presentations, charts, tables, diagrams, data, etc.
- Set up meetings and appointments, take responsibility for meeting minutes and organizing notes.
- Track vendors, perform on time payments, and assist in purchasing assignments, such as for office supplies or business procurement.
- Help track payroll for full-time employees and contractors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of systems to improve office efficiency.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding and/or interest in the Semiconductor and Electrical Engineering fields.
- Knowledge and passion for startups.
- Proficiency with office productivity software, and experience using software to access project data and track budget information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience in customer service, sales, management or leadership.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be available to work an average of 40 hours per week.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
