Fall River Health Services is looking for a Director of HR, Compliance & Informatics is responsible for the overall operations and leadership of: Human Resources, Health Information Management, Information Technology, and Compliance departments.
Supervisory Responsibilities Administers such personnel actions as hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action. Evaluate and documents manager performance and sets performance expectations. Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent employee information. Provides support to department Managers to ensure they perform their responsibilities in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Managers, for establishing and updating all company policies, procedures, standards and programs within the guidelines of the facility and the standard of the profession.
- Responsible for oversight, development, allocation, and administration of the budget for assigned departments, based on past requirements, forecasted patient care needs, best practice, available resources, and, for quality management outcomes. Reads, analyzes, and interprets the most complex data documents.
- Resolve conflict with patients, staff, department managers, senior leaders, physicians, advanced practice providers and other stakeholders in situations where customer needs have not been met to determine a positive and mutually agreeable resolution. Sets the tone and expectation for positive customer service in all assigned departments.
- Initiate/advise such personnel actions as hiring, promotion, disciplinary procedures, investigations and termination.
- Encourage staff development and professional growth. Provides necessary support to manager’s under their authority.
- Oversee/maintain in conjunction with managers a quality assurance program throughout all areas of responsibility to ensure that accurate and prompt services are provided.
- Assists the compliance department in areas to improve QA within the facility.
- Respond to state survey findings in a proactive, positive and problem solving manner, deficiencies are addressed through process, system reviews and/or direct intervention to ensure compliance.
- In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon facility needs or requirements.
Core Competencies
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) such as EPIC, Meditech, Point Click Care (PCC) and Kronos systems: including knowledge of rules and regulations regarding medical records, confidentiality and dissemination of information and storage of medical records.
- Working knowledge of: HR legal requirements, corporate compliance areas and Healthcare Information Technology.
