What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHS Teacher position at Families First of Minnesota?
Families First of Minnesota has 1 full-time, full-year Early Head Start Teacher opening. This position is located in Albert Lea, MN location. This position will offer programming for families with infants and toddlers. The individual in this position will be responsible for following Early Head Start Performance Standards and State of Minnesota regulations and requirements. Responsibilities include facilitating classroom learning activities in large and small groups, providing guidance in social interactions, and assisting children with self-care activities.
This position requires a minimum of an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Head Start and Families First of Minnesota offers continuing education opportunities for individuals seeking to obtain an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the field of Early Childhood Education. Bilingual applicants preferred, but not necessary.
This exempt position is scheduled 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. Compensation is based upon education level, starting at $22.79/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability and 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal time.
