What are the responsibilities and job description for the One on One Paraprofessional position at Families First of N.C. LLC?
Applicants must be friendly, personable, laid back/ easy going and flexible. We do one on one work with individuals with developmental disabilities, commonly known as "Special Needs." You essentially get paid to hangout in the community with our really cool special people, make friends in the community and help them make friends in the community as well. We need staff to take individuals served, hiking, walking, bowling, to volunteer in the community, to classes in the community etc... We teach them social skills, independent living skills through verbal prompts, role modeling, anticipatory guidance etc... No experience required. G.E.D. or High School Diploma is required. We need people who are CPR and 1st Aid certified or willing to get certified. Must have Valid Driver's License, dependable vehicle and vehicle insurance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
