In this role, Family Peer Advocates will provide client-centered support to families caring for youth experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges across home, school, placement, or community settings.

In this role, Family Peer Advocates will provide client-centered support to families caring for youth experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges across home, school, placement, or community settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home and community visits to educate clients on parenting techniques and advocacy skills.
- Assist families in accessing community resources to enhance their support networks.
- Facilitate groups, family engagement activities, and networking opportunities for clients.
- Complete and submit all required documentation, including development and safety plans, session notes, and discharge plans, in compliance with funding and agency guidelines.
- Collaborate with Case Managers on shared cases to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with program requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support program operations effectively.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a child with social, emotional, behavioral, mental health, or developmental disabilities.
- Provisional Certification required, with Professional Family Peer Advocate credential to be obtained within 18 months of employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
